Colour models

The general model employs three colours Red, Green and Blue (RGB). RGB model was initially developed for the TV image-capture and display systems. Chromatic models employ one extra parameter for brightness while two parameters define colours. Chromatic models are also called additive models. In CMYK model, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black colours represent image. Other models in market are YUV model and YCbCr models.
